Following on from the US and Japan, the UK and Europe finally get access to a Nismo tuned version of the 370Z. The Nismo version features a number of significant changes that together bring a more involving and visually striking car.
The car has been dramatically re sculpted both front and rear, the lower/wider front splitter in particular significantly adds to the aerodynamic forces, bringing GTR levels of downforce to the 370Z.
Combined with revised suspension (-10mm/15% stiffer vs standard 370Z), 19 inch Nismo/Rays forged wheels (that accomodate wider 285 section tyres at the rear), uprated engine performance (339bhp and 273lb ft), improvements to the braking system (GTR fluid and solid piping), and a sports tuned exhaust, there will be a noticeable upgrade to the standard cars performance and handling.
The US Nismo version was reported to transform the driving experience back to the more neutral and direct 350Z. The Nismo 370Z will only be available with a manual gearbox.
Whilst the styling may not be to everyone’s taste, it is sure to be a popular addition to the 370Z range. Price to be confirmed by Nissan UK, should be available in June/July 2013.
