Since the new road tax legislation was brought in the lowest band cars cost £0 to tax each year. Band A cars emit up to 100 CO2 g/km. An added bonus is they are also exempt from London Congestion Zone charges which are currently £10 per day for most cars. Some insurers are also now offering “green discounts” to make running these cars even cheaper. This is great news if you know which cars to buy!
