Birmingham’s NEC hosted Autosport International 2014, Europe’s largest motorsport show. Visitors flocked to the show over 4 days in January to view what the motorsport industry had to offer in terms of cars and components.
Formula One World Champion John Surtees, multiple 24 Hours of Le Mans winners and 2013 World Endurance Champions Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish, World Rally Champion Petter Solberg and British Touring Car Champions Andrew Jordan, Walter Rohrl, Matt Neal, Jason Plato, Colin Turkington and Gordon Shedden were some of the names in attendance. Adrian Sutil made his Autosport International debut ahead of his 2014 season with the Sauber F1 Team, “It’s been great getting to see British fans, who are so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about motorsport,”
We continued our theme of close up photography of the great racing cars and premium components, a selection of our pictures are shown below.
Next year’s Autosport International will take place on 8-11 January 2015 at Birmingham’s NEC.
