Due to the mountainous setting, the weather is extremely changeable, fog in mornings and heavy sudden rain are common in spring so it’s worth being around for several days to increase chance of a decent day. The ideal time to go and experience the Nurburgring is August and September.
The track can be treacherous in the wet, so plan a visit over several days to increase the likelihood of a dry run on the circuit. Click on the picture on the right to view the current forecast.
