The Alfa Romeo 4C took a big step towards production today, pictures of a production ready 4C were released by Alfa, along with a key performance figure, power to weight of 250hp/tonne. This would make it a strong performance rival to the new Porsche Cayman.
Whilst the car has lost some of the styling details, the overall design is largely unchanged. The production car actuallylooks better at the rear due to revised rear lights that are smaller.

The Alfa Romeo 4C concept has already been picking up awards over the last year, including the ‘AutoBild Design Award’ (2011, Germany), the ‘Design Award for Concept Cars & Prototypes’ (2012, Italy) and the ‘Most Exciting Car of 2013’ – ‘What Car?’ (2013, Great Britain). The 4C is due for release in 2013 and will cost less than £50,000 in the UK.
